THE COMPANY
We supply the computer side of the musical theatre pit — and stay with it through the run.
Jay Jeong Productions builds and rents the keyboard workstations, playback systems, and failover hardware that sit under a musical. Every rig ships with a full backup. Setup, pit installation, and on-site support are included, not billed as extras.
The company was founded in Seoul in July 2025. We own the systems we rent and install them ourselves. Our first production was the Seoul run of The Great Gatsby (2025), which completed without a single system failure.

Jay Jeong 정 재 민
FOUNDER · MUSIC TECHNOLOGY & SOUND DESIGN
Jay has worked in Korean musical theatre pits since 2015, building keyboard and playback systems for Cats, Mamma Mia!, Ghost, Evil Dead, Death Note, and the Andrew Lloyd Webber concerts in Seoul — and on the first US national tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
Before that he spent eight years as Steinberg specialist for Yamaha Music Korea, running Cubase and Nuendo seminars at KOBA and teaching computer music at the university level.
He founded Jay Jeong Productions in 2025 to do the equipment side the way it should be done — owned, redundant, and supported by the person who built it.
